The Authors...
Christian Overman, M.Ed., is the Director of Research and Product Development at the Biblical Worldview Institute. He is also the Executive Director of Worldview Matters, Inc., and the author of Different Windows (Tyndale House, 1989), and Assumptions that Affect our Lives (Growing Families International, 1996). Chris taught in public and private schools, and served as Principal and Superintendent of North Seattle Christian School for fourteen years. He holds a Master of Education degree from Seattle Pacific University, and is an adjunct faculty member of the Continuing Education program at SPU. Chris and his wife, Kathy, present workshops at schools, churches, prisons, and other institutions in the United States and abroad. Their mission is to help people understand the significance of the biblical worldview, and to apply it to every sphere of life and culture.
Don Johnson, M.Ed., is Superintendent of the Cascade Christian School District in Puyallup, Washington, and Executive Director of the Biblical Worldview Institute. His experience in education, since 1977, includes teaching, initially establishing a Christian school, overseeing an additional Christian school, and then spearheading the consolidation of several schools into an interdenominational Christian school system, which today serves nearly 2,000 students in Puyallup, Tacoma, and Spanaway, WA. He holds a Master of Education degree from Seattle Pacific University, and administrative credentials from Pacific Lutheran University. He has served as chairperson of the Washington Federation of Independent Schools, and of the Private School Advisory Committee to the State Superintendent of Public Instruction.
